Hailing from the Washington, D.C. area, Tamara Jade is a multi-talented artist making waves in music and TV. With degrees in Sociology and Vocal Performance from Oberlin College & Conservatory, she’s taken her talent from local stages to global platforms. You've probably seen her at the 66th Grammy Awards (2024) as a Vocal Arranger & Vocalist alongside Jon Batiste, or with John Legend at the 64th Grammy Awards (2022). She’s also hit the stage as a singer and dancer with Doja Cat on the European leg of the Scarlet Tour (2024) and rocked the 2019 MTV VMAs with Lizzo.

 

Tamara’s worked with industry greats like Cory Henry, Madonna, Tori Kelly, PJ Morton, and Usher, and has been featured in commercials for brands like Amazon Prime, Toyota, Google Nest, Hanes, Meta, and Coca-Cola. Her talent extends beyond performing, with awards from the Songwriters Hall of Fame recognizing her songwriting chops, and she’s been highlighted in Billboard, People, The New York Times, Access Hollywood, and Rolling Stone.
 

Tamara recently made her TV acting debut as a series regular on HBO’s "A Black Lady Sketch Show" (Season 4), and in 2025, she’ll hit the road as the featured vocalist and host on KevOnStage's "Life from the Back Pew" Comedy Tour. With a career that’s only getting bigger, Tamara Jade continues to leave her mark on the entertainment world.
